II. Collection and storage of personal data as well as way & purpose of using them
- When visiting the Website
When calling our Website Website www.ausstellung-euha.org, the browser installed on your terminal device will automatically send information to the server of our Website. This information will be temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be captured without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically erased again:
- IP address of the inquiring computer,
- date and time of the access,
- name and URL of the file called,
- Website, from which the access has been made (referrer URL),
- browser used and, where applicable, your computer’s operating system as well as the name of your access provider
The above data will be processed by us for
- ensuring that the connection with the Website can be smoothly established,
- ensuring that the Website can be comfortably used,
- assessing the system security and stability as well as
- further administrative purposes
The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6, sub-section 1 (f), of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is derived from the purposes of data collection listed above. Under no circumstances shall we use the collected data for purposes that would allow drawing conclusions as to your person.
- Registration on our Website
You can register on our Website by stating personal data. The input mask used for the registration will determine which personal data are transmitted to us. The personal data you put in will exclusively be collected and stored for our internal use and for our own purposes. However, we can also arrange that your personal data are passed on to one or several processors, such as a parcel service, that will also use the personal data exclusively for internal purposes on our behalf.
When registering on our Website, the IP address allocated by your Internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and the time of the registration will also be stored. These data are stored against the background that this is the only way to prevent any misuse of our services and to use these data to investigate crimes, when the need arises. In as much, we require the storage of these data to guard and protect ourselves. As a matter of principle, we shall not pass on these data to any third parties, unless we are required to do so by law or if the disclosure of the data is needed for the purpose of law enforcement.
We use the personal data you put in voluntarily during the registration to offer you contents or services we can only provide, due to their nature, to registered users.
- When using our contact form
If you have questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to get in touch with us by using the form provided on our Website. This requires that a valid e-mail address be stated, so that we know who placed the inquiry and that we can answer it. Further details can be put in voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of establishing the contact with us is based on Article 6, sub-section 1(a), GDPR, i.e. your voluntarily granted consent.
The personal data collected by us on the contact form will be automatically deleted after we have dealt with your inquiry.
III. Transfer of data
Your personal data will not be transmitted to any third parties, except for the reasons stated below.
We shall only pass on your personal data to third parties, if and when
- you have given your express consent pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(a), GDPR to do so,
- this is required, pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(f), GDPR to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and if there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
- there is a statutory obligation to do so pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(c), GDPR, and
- this is admissible by law and required, pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(b), GDPR, to perform a contract with you or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
The cookies are used to store information that is gained from the terminal device specifically used in this connection, although it does not mean that we can gain direct knowledge of your identity from the cookies.
On the one hand, cookies are used to arrange our offer easier and more pleasantly for you. We therefore use so-called session cookies, in order to enable us to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our Website. These cookies will be automatically deleted, after you have left the relevant pages.
On the other hand, we also use temporary cookies to optimize the user friendliness; they will be stored for a certain period on your terminal device. If you visit our page again in order to use our services, it will be automatically recognized that you have been on our Website before, what you have put in and what settings you have made. This will avoid making entries a second time.
The data processed by cookies are required, pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(f), GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties.
Most browsers will accept cookies automatically, although you can configure your browser in such a way that no cookies are stored on your computer or that always a message appears, before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may disable the use of some of our Website functions.
V. Rights of the data subject
You have the right,
pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, to demand information about your personal data we process, especially about the purpose(s) of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to which your data have been, or will be, disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing or to object, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, about the origin of your data, if not collected by us, as well as about the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about the logic involved, where applicable;
pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, to demand the immediate rectification of incorrect personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us;
pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, to demand the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless their processing is required to exercise the right of freedom of expression and information, to perform a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
pursuant to Article 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of processing your personal data, if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing of the personal data is unlawful, although you oppose their erasure and if we no longer need the personal data, although you need them for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or if you object to the processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR;
pursuant to Article 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to demand the transmission to another data controller;
pursuant to Article 7, sub-section 3, GDPR, to withdraw your consent given to us at any time, which will have the consequence that we must not continue processing the data in the future, for which the consent had once been given, and
pursuant to Article 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for which purpose you will usually turn to the supervisory authority at your habitual place of residence, at your work place or at the place of our association’s head office.
VI. Right to object
If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6, sub-section 1(f), GDPR, you have the right, pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, to file an objection against the processing of your personal data, if there are reasons relating to your particular situation or if the objection is raised against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, to which we shall respond without the necessity that a particular situation must be specified.

VII. Data security
During the visit of our Website, we shall apply the widely used SSL technique (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest possible level of encryption that is supported by your browser. This will usually be a 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support a 256 bit encryption, we shall resort to the 128 bit v3 technology. You will recognize by the display of the closed key or of the lock symbol in your browser’s lower status bar, whether an individual page of our Internet presentation is transmitted encrypted or not.
As for the rest, we use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, against partial or complete loss and destruction or against the unauthorized access by third parties.
